My situation...need advice?

I have been dancing for 17 years now and have been to summer intensives, done exams ect...anyway recently I have been excepted to a ballet company but couldnt take the opportunity due to health problems (Im 21 yrs old)...after recovering I have decided to start auditioning for ballet companys again..Do you think 21/22 years old is too old to audition for ballet companys?...any advice? Thankyou!!!
