How can i go about making a quilt?

I just did a memory blanket for my Mom for Christmas.She has short term memory loss so I printed her children and grandchildren on cloth so she would know who belonged to whos kids. .I can email you pictures if you like of the quit i did. I went to walmart and bought the t-shirt photo paper and the cloth. (states what kind to get on the back of the photo paper) It was alot of work just so you know to put it all together.
