Zebra finches question?

You can keep two zebra finch males together, 2 zebra finch females together, or 1 male zebra finch and 1 female zebra finch together. Don't keep the male and female together unless you plan on breeding them, because zebra finches are excellent breeders and you'll have many babies. I currently have 2 male zebra finches together and they get along just fine. Only an occasional territorial squabble, and then they are back to getting along again. Just remember to always keep zebra finches housed together in groups of two, always an even number of finches per cage. Never put an odd number of finches per cage, like 3 or 5, because one of them will end up getting picked on. Zebra finches are colorful and fun to watch. They sing so cute. You're going to love them!
