Im looking to buy and hp desktop help please?

No offense but 8gb of ram is overkill, 4gb is the most you need for gaming. The only reason to have anything over 4gb is if you do a lot of memory intensive work like photoshop editing, movie editing (Sony Vegas, etc.) or you're running a server computer. Other than that I guess the first one is technically better just because it has the X-Fi sound card.
