Army weight rules, serious answers!?
According to my Army colleagues, it won't be an issue as far as you being able to ship out but it very well may become an issue once you get to Basic Training. You'll be targeted as "danger zone" for being within ten pounds of your maximum, which means you'll be watched very closely to ensure that you're not overeating or underexercising. The problem is that's all subjective. If your Drill Sergeant doesn't like you he can make Basic Training a living hell and use your weight as an excuse. Best piece of advice I can give you is try to lose some weight before you ship out.
