How come the working person in the US doesn't get any respect anymore?

Hi all! I currently make $9.00 per hour, 40 hours a week and I get no health benefits. I have a 30 year old female cousin who gets more than me financially speaking at the end of the day. She has 5 kids from 5 different men (this is not a typo), has been married twice, now is married to an illegal Mexican immigrant (just so he could get US citizenship), gets an SSI disability check every month because she says she's mentally retarded (even though she knows how to spread her lfu&*(cking egs and makes unwanted babies she can't pay to take care of), gets free health insurance through Medicaid, and lives in an almost free house on Section 8 housing. I have 2 college degrees and I've always worked for everything I've wanted in my life. My Mom, for instance, talks about my cousin like she's better than me. WTF is wrong with this picture? Our society is so fuYUIcked up BIG TIME. How come the working person in the US doesn't get any respect anymore? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks!
